Experience the Difference!
We don't sell Real Estate!
We do, however, help people buy and sell
real estate. That is one major difference when you choose us!
Our philosophy is simple: We
believe people do business with people! While computers, faxes, laptops, the
internet, and whatever else you can think of make information more available
and faster to receive, it's still people working with people . . . people
listening to people . . . and people helping people.
In an era when customer service has come
to mean holding on a telephone line for 30 minutes in order to get a human
being to help you, you can expect true "service" when you select us to be your
Realtors.
Another major difference when you choose
us is our attitude! We don't focus on volume or emphasize our dollars sold.
That would reward quantity over quality. And that's just not our way! Our goal
is to make you feel like you are the only client we have at any given time.
Regular communication is essential
whether you are buying or selling. We are easy to reach either by telephone
(we both carry cell phones) or email. Home and work offices with the latest
technology help keep us (and you) a step ahead of the others. And that one step
ahead is why our buyers know about houses the day they are on the market and
why our sellers have the broadest possible exposure. Both sellers and buyers
receive weekly updates on the market. And we always keep you apprised of the
"next step" along the way, to eliminate any "surprises."
We also have a network of qualified trade
people--from mortgage lenders, title companies, home inspectors, plumbers,
handymen, landscapers, to cleaning services, and so on-whom we can recommend to
suit your needs.
We can help make this move the most
enjoyable one you've ever experienced. We are committed to excellence,
communication, and service!

Closing or Settlement >Real Estate Repairs
In most real estate transactions there are a few responsibilities that the sellers need to handle before the closing, such as repairs and termite extermination. The deadline for completing these obligations usually coincides with the actual closing. Many sellers barely make that deadline. Those who wait until the last minute to handle these matters may miss the deadline altogether or pay high rates in order to get a plumber, roofer or electrician on an emergency basis.
Your buyers will probably get a structural inspection done after the contract is ratified. Within 10 days of the contract's acceptance by all parties, the pest inspection should be scheduled. Even though sellers usually know well in advance what is needed, they sometimes put things off until the buyers have finalized the loan approval process. Since these repairs will have to be made anyway, it is a good idea to get them done promptly.
