 Courtney Tate Administrative Assistant Transaction Coordinator Probably the most important person on our team, Courtney is in charge of everything! No matter which agent you work with on your transaction, Courtney will be doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work.  Ted Smida Mortgage Specialist Home Express Lending Having relocated to Florida from New Jersey many years ago, Ted remembers well the sleepless nights while getting the mortgage on his home - and he worked for the bank that was doing the loan back then!! He told himself long ago how imperative it was for him as a loan originator to reduce the stress on his clients as much as possible. Moving is difficult enough without having to worry about all the details of securing a mortgage! These days getting a mortgage entails much more than just interest rate and amount of down payment. The variety of mortgages that are available is staggering. He often jokes with clients that he feels more like a financial planner than a mortgage lender! Certainly the type of mortgage that a new Florida retiree needs is substantially different from that of an up and coming executive who likely will be transferred in a few years.
